Patricia Ann Jordan, 83, of Temple, Georgia, passed away on July 1, 2025. She was born on May 20, 1942 in Douglasville, Georgia to the late Lucy Bell Correa Cosby and Tommy Fletcher Cosby. She lived a life of selflessness and gratitude.
Patricia's most cherished memories came from spending time with her family. She loved everyone and was known as the best wife, mom, sister, grandmother and great grandmother to everyone. She was affectionately called "nanny" and "mama" by all of her friends and family. Ms. Patricia never met a stranger and always had a smile on her face when she greeted anyone. Included in her warm personality was a love for cooking; Ms. Patricia loved cooking - especially for her family. She also had a talent for gardening, where she would grow beautiful vegetables and flowers all year long. Her loving presence will be missed, but her memories will live on through those who had the privilege of knowing her.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Jannifer Ann Jordan; sisters; Tommie Lou Kotil, Nettie Sue Bohannon, Virginia Seabolt, Shelby King and Imogene Cosby; and brothers, Paul Cosby and Mark Cosby.
She is survived by her loving husband of over 64 years, Edward Neeley Jordan; daughters and sons-in-law; Pam (Brian) Bell of Villa Rica and Robin Compton of Temple; sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy (Judy) Jordan of Bremen and Brian (Darlene) Jordan of Temple; sister, Ina Dorrough of Woodland, Alabama; grandchildren, Suidayna Williams, Michelle Cribb, Sheena Booth, Amanda Ponder, Deanne Jordan, Rick Compton, Chris Jordan, Ryan Jordan, Skylar Sarti, Joshua Powell, Katie Pokey, Brittney King, Chelsie Hunter and Justin Hunter; thirty one great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at 10:30 AM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with interment to follow at Liberty Baptist Church in Winston, Georgia.
