Patricia Mason

Mrs. Patricia “Patti” Ann Pass Mason, age 75, of Douglasville, Georgia formerly of Gainesville, passed away Monday, November 28, 2016. She was born April 15, 1941 in Gainesville, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. James Winfred Pass and the late Mrs. Ina Velma Palmer Pass. A loving mother and grandmother, she loved travel and dancing to “old school” rock and roll. She retired from ACI Glass. She was a very active member of the Woodie Fite Senior Center, where she enjoyed event planning. She was a former member of the Civitan Club. She volunteered as a poll worker for many years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald E. Mason; and a brother, Ken Pass. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, LaDonna and Ken DeMarce of Douglasville; two sons and daughters-in-law, Don and Stephanie Mason of Douglasville and Mike and Teresa Mason of Douglasville; sister, Pamela Pass Grant of Flowery Branch; seven grandchildren, Sarah, Laura, Garrett, Wade, Ericka, Brynn, and Reagan; one great-grandchild, Dominick; niece, Ashley; nephews, Josh, Brian, and Jarrod; her devoted partner, Bob Mahaffey; and her beloved dog, C.J. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Friday, December 2, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. A Celebration of Life will be conducted Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Spirit Life Church of God, 4889 Hill Road, Powder Springs, GA 30127.
