Patricia Turner

Mrs. Patricia Ann Rice Turner, age 72, of Rome, passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at her residence. She was born February 16, 1939 in Rome the daughter of the late Mr. William Faine Rice and the late Mrs. Lorene Flossie Fields Rice. She worked for Goody’s in retail for many years. She loved reading and most of all her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey B. Turner and brother, Ron Rice. She is survived by her husband, Wallace L. Turner of Rome; son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Tina Turner of Clarksville, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Tara and Lamar Haynes of Rome; sisters, Mary Ann Fessell of Anaheim, CA, Vicki Rice of Palmdale, CA; brothers, Jerry Rice of North Dakota, Ricky Rice of Palmdale, CA; two grandchildren, Lea Taylor, Kristan Freeman; three great-grandchildren, Natalie Taylor, Frank Freeman and Kayle Taylor. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends Friday, December 30, 2011 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Graveside Service will be conducted Saturday, December 31, 2011 at 1:00 PM from Hillcrest Cemetery in Villa Rica. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Villa Rica.
