Patrick Shane Brown

Patrick “Pat” Shane Brown, 70, of Carrollton, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. He was born on February 1, 1955, the son of the late James Edwin Brown and Phyllis Shane Brown McKinnish.

Above all, Pat cherished his family. His love for them was unwavering. Pat was a proud veteran of the USMC and he embraced life with passion and joy, finding fulfillment in both his career and his personal pursuits. He loved being a truck driver, a profession that allowed him to explore the open roads. His true spirit resonated not only in his work but also in the hobbies that brought him immense happiness. He was an outdoor enthusiast at heart. He enjoyed stamp collecting, puzzles, camping and hunting. Additionally, he had a deep appreciation for woodworking, which allowed him to create pieces that were both functional and artistic.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Tarralyn Gwen Melvin.

He is survived by his loving wife, Deeanna Melvin Brown; daughters, Jennifer Garcia of Loganville and Amy Brown of Carrollton; sisters, Jayme Brown and Rebecca (Chuck) Galete of Carrollton; brother, Christopher McKinnish; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 7, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Jones-Wynn Villa Rica Chapel. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens.

Pat's vibrant personality and zest for life will be remembered by all who knew him.
