Patsy Long

Mrs. Patsy Chandler Long, 83, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2017. She was born November 12, 1933 in Fulton County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. Loy Thomas Chandler and the late Mrs. Ora Barker Chandler. She retired from the United States Postal Service where she worked as a mail carrier. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Douglasville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Owen Jackson Long; brother, Loy Chandler, Jr.; sisters, Wynnette Mandevalle, Myra and Jim Sinyard; and sister in law, Erma Chandler. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Janet and Steven Hulderman of Tucson, AZ, Nancy and Dan Parks of Carrollton, Debra and Steve Turner of Powder Springs ; sons and daughters-in-law, Russell and Barbara Mozley of Douglasville, Wayne and Sherry Mozley of Fairhope, AL, Edwin Long of Texas and Clyde and Jan Long of Duluth; sisters and a brother-in-law, Sara and Bob Bartlett of Maryville, TN and Olivia Clark of Douglasville; thirteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Saturday, August 26, 2017 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 12:00 PM of Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
