Paul Earnest Pruett

Mr. Paul Earnest Pruett, 63, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2007. He was born September 12, 1943 in Paulding County, Georgia. He was the son of the late G. E. Pruett and the late Lola Clyde Parson Pruett. Survivors include his wife, Jane Hix Pruett of Douglasville; one daughter and son-in law Angela Jane and Joe Randolph of Douglasville, one son and daughter in law Paul Kelvin and Allison Pruett of Douglasville; one sister and brother in law Nancy and Dennis Teal of Rockmart, five brothers and sisters in law, Wayne and Brenda Pruett of Warren, Il., Donald and Claudia Pruett of Center, Alabama, Douglas and Connie Pruett of Dallas, Max and Penny Pruett of Waco and David and Lisa Pruett of Cedartown. Two Grandchildren, Ashley and Michael Pruett of Douglasville. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Mr. Pruett was retired from ABF Freight Lines as a mechanic. He was an active member of Callie Harbin Baptist Church and enjoyed driving the church bus. Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday August 2, 2007 at 1:00PM in the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, in Villa Rica with Rev. Jerry Hollis, Rev. Ricky Bice and Pastor Corey Gordon officiating. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Wednesday August 1, 2007 from 3:00PM until 9:00 PM.
