Mr. Paul Miller Elliott, Sr., 81, of Carrollton, Georgia formerly of Douglasville, passed away Friday, August 10, 2018. He was born June 9, 1937 in Adrian, Georgia the son of the late Mr. Gordon Irvin Elliott and the late Mrs. Annie Maud Miller Elliott. He married the love of his life, Sylvia Ann Sandiford on July 9, 1954 in Macon, Georgia. He retired from the Automobile industry where he worked many years in various car dealership sales positions. He was Past President of the Lions Club in Arkansas, past president of the Southeast Arkansas Auto Association, and served as the Secretary/Treasurer of the local United Way. He was of the pentecostal faith where he served as a deacon in the First Assembly of God of Douglasville. He enjoyed fishing and racing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant son, Jeffrey Paul Elliott; brothers, Kennon Elliott, James Elliott, and Robert Elliott; and sister, Johnnie Bell Lloyd; and son-in-law, David Doss. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Sylvia Ann Sandiford Elliott of Carrollton; three daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie Doss of Wedowee, AL, Kay and Greg Bell of Rockwall, TX, and Cathy and Dean Duren of Douglasville; son and daughter-in-law, Paul Jr. and Brandy Elliott of Villa Rica; brother and sister-in-law, Cuin and Eloise Elliott of Macon; twelve grandchildren, David Doss, Ashley Legendre, Tiffany Bell, Adam Bell, Brittany Bell, Christy Moir, Jason Duren, Justin Duren, Jeffrey Elliott, Cassidy Elliott, Morgan Elliott, and Madison Elliott; fourteen great-grandchildren, Haley, Eli, Brooklynn, Ethan, Zachary, Ezra, Erin, Lexie, Jacob, Jackson, Caleb, Atley, Presley, and Abigail; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Sunday, August 12, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, August 13, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with his grandson, Jason Duren officiating.
