Rev. Paul Kiker

Reverend Lemuel Paul Kiker, age 54, of Buchanan, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2024. He was born February 13, 1970 in Dallas to the late Reverend Earl Thomas Kiker, Sr. and the late Mrs. Mary Lee Kiker.

Paul received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 15. Paul's life was marked by a deep-rooted calling to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. At the tender age of 18, he embraced his purpose and embarked on a journey to inspire and enlighten those around him. One of Paul's greatest joys in life was immersing himself in the words of the KJV Bible. It was not merely a book to him; it was a source of solace, wisdom, and guidance. His passion for reading the scriptures was unwavering, having read it in completion an astounding 17 times. At the time of his passing, he was in the midst of savoring it for the 18th time - a testament to his unyielding dedication to his faith. Paul's love knew no bounds. He cherished his wife with all his heart for 37 years, finding comfort and strength in her unwavering support. His children held a special place in his soul, their laughter and milestones bringing immeasurable joy to his life. The arrival of grandchildren further illuminated his world, enveloping him in warmth and love beyond compare.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sister, Cynthia Gail Kiker.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Delois Kiker; daughters, Mary Kate (Andrew) Wilson of Bremen, Hannah Kiker of Buchanan; son, Joshua (Angela) Kiker of Rockmart; brothers, Tommy Kiker of Temple, Danny (Kathy) Kiker of Buchanan, Scott (Donna) Brown of Hogansville; grandchildren, Elisabeth Joy Kiker and Elijah Paul Kiker; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A second visitation will take place on Thursday, April 4, 2024 from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM with Mr. Joshua Paul Kiker officiating.
