Paul Ray Pate, Jr.

Mr. Paul Ray Pate, Jr., age 60 of Waverly Hall, Georgia passed away Monday, August 2, 2021. He was born March 7, 1961 in Sarasota, Florida, the son of the late Mr. Charles Thomas Pate and the late Mrs. Geraldine Epps Pate. Mr. Pate served in the United States Army for 24 years as a Sargent-E7 and 2 years as an IT tech for Fort Benning. He loved his family, planting trees, gardening, and cats. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Bill Pate. Mr. Pate is survived by his wife of 34 years, Mrs. Myong Pate of Waverly Hall, Georgia; sisters and brother-in-law, Lindsay and Carlos Wooten of Powder Springs, Georgia, Daisy Pate of Lithia Springs, Georgia, Samantha Pate of Lithia Springs, Georgia; sister-in-law, Paula Pate of Bremen, Georgia; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dillard and Hyesuk Crawford; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles survive.
