Mr. Paul Willard Rogers, 78, of Douglasville passed away Thursday, December 22, 2005 at Wellstar Douglas Hospital. Mr. Rogers was born November 9, 1927 in Fannin, Georgia the son of the late Mr. John Willard Rogers and the late Mrs. Frances Garner Rogers. He served in the United States Army during World War II and was a truck driver for Brown Transport and Napa. He was a member of Bolton Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jones Rogers of Douglasville; three daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce and Douglas Robbins of Dallas, Millie and Kim Cole of Douglasville, Tracy Rogers and Mike Willis of Hiram; one son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Carol Rogers of Dallas; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Aurilla and John Keener of Ellijay, Mary Ellen and Herbert Cruze of Suches, GA, Lena and Bill Watkins of Ellijay; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles and Willene Rogers of Eastnola, Harold and Linda Rogers of Ellijay; five grandchildren, four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, December 23, 2005 at 2:00 PM from Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel with the Rev. Jim Burdette officiating. Interment will follow at Mozley Memorial Gardens in Lithia Springs. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 22, 2005 at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel from 5:30 PM until 9:00 PM.
