Paula Eileen Austin

Mrs. Paula Eileen Turner Austin, age 59, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Friday, October 31, 2008 at her residence. She was born August 2, 1949 in Atlanta, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. Paul Turner and the late Mrs. Emma Jo Nash Turner. Mrs. Austin worked and retired from Customer Service at the Austell Gas Company. She was known for her cooking and spending time with family during the holidays and loved her dog, Tanner. Mrs. Austin was a member of Sunset Hills Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Eugene Austin in February, 2005 and her sister, Cathy Brumbelow. Survivors include her sister and brother-in-law, Patti and Danny Evans of Douglasville; her brother-in-law and his wife, Bill and Leah Brumbelow of Douglasville; nieces and nephews, Christy Garner of Villa Rica, Mark Evans of Douglasville, Kera Ashworth of Villa Rica and Brittney Grump of Douglasville and a host of family and friends also survive. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, November 2, 2008 at 3:00PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Pastor Stephen Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Douglasville, Georgia.
