Pearlie Ann Bodi

Pearlie Ann Bodi, 94, of Temple, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2025. She was born on September 18, 1930, the daughter of the late James Montgomery Cathey and the late Pearl Pankey Cathey.

Ann was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a faithful member of Berclair Baptist Church in Memphis, Tennessee. Her dedication went beyond her family; she was owner/operator of Poplar Employment for more than forty years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Bodi; son, James W. Bodi, Jr.; grand-daughter, Rachel Lavine; seven brother and sisters.

She is survived by her children, Cathy Bodi of Temple and Robert( Paula) Bodi of Whitesburg; grandchildren, Ashley Bodi, Leah Wean, James Christopher Bodi, Stacey Carver and Stephen Bullard; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews.

In accordance with her wishes, she was cremated. The family will have a celebration of life at a later date.

Ann will be missed by many. May her legacy continue to live on in her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
