Peggie Ann Harper Yarbrough

Mrs. Peggie Ann Harper Yarbrough, age 76 of Peachtree City, Georgia passed away Thursday, July 23, 2020. She was born November 15, 1943 the daughter of the late Mr. Robert Eugene Harper and the late Mrs. Mary Ann Swann Harper. Mrs. Yarbrough volunteered with Blue Skies Ministries and the American Legion. She could always be counted on to assist with the elderly community or help those in need. Mrs. Yarbrough was of the Southern Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, George William Yarbrough; daughter, Cathy Lynne Long; brother, Robert Harper. Mrs. Yarbrough is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and Steven Wood of Peachtree City, Georgia; sisters, Angella Brock of Atlanta, Georgia, Jackie Tinney of Piedmont, Alabama; brother and sister-in-law, James and Ruby Harper of Dallas, Georgia; five grandchildren, Lauren Long, Brandon Long, Lexi Long, Branson Wood, Brannan Wood; one great grandchild, Ashlynne Long; several nieces and nephews also survive including Chris Kaiser, Bruce Kaiser and Jason Kaiser. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville Friday, July 31, 2020 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Crossroads Church in Douglasville.
