Peggy Sue Shackleford

Peggy Sue Shackleford, 77, of Bremen, Georgia, recently residing at Manor Lake in Hiram, GA, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. She was born on May 19, 1948, the daughter of the late John Robert Shaw and the late Opal Katherine Ragan Shaw.

Peggy lived a life marked by her unwavering kindness, and a profound love for animals. As the Office Manager for Furniture Clinic in Austell, Georgia, she demonstrated a strong work ethic and a caring nature.

Peggy was beloved not only for her professional contributions but also for her warm and friendly personality. She was a dedicated member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church for many years.

Peggy leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will be remembered by all who knew her. Her memory will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to cross her path.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Clenton Shackleford who passed in 2017.

She is survived by her sister, Martha Ann (Joe) Austin of Powder Springs, GA; her brother, Millard (Judy) Shaw of Lithia Springs, GA; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Powder Springs, GA.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Powder Springs, GA.

Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Powder Springs, GA.
