Peter A. Shalinski

Mr. Peter Anton Shalinski, age 63, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Thursday, November 19, 2009 at Wellstar Douglas Hospital. He was born November 15, 1946 in New York City, New York the son of Mrs. Mary Pawlikowski Shalinski and the late Mr. Anton Brunoslau Shalinski. He married Maureen Moloney on May 26, 1973 in Flushing, New York. He was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Douglasville. He worked as a real estate inspector. He was an instructor for the Home Inspectors Association. He was involved in the Boy Scouts through the years. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Mrs. Maureen Moloney Shalinski of Douglasville; daughters and son-in-law, Catherine Jessica and Jeremy Jones of Villa Rica and Donna Demetric Shalinski of Douglasville; sons, Anton Michael Shalinski of Juneau, Alaska, David Edward Shalinski and Michael John Shalinski both of Douglasville; his mother, Mary Pawlikowski Shalinski of Port Orange, Florida; brother, Anton Edward Shalinski of Huntington, New York; 2 grandchildren, Thomas Dylan Jones and Daniel Lee Jones; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, November 22, 2009 at 2:00PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglasville. Entombment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens in Villa Rica. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Saturday, November 21, 2009 from 2:00PM until 4:00PM and from 6:00PM until 8:00PM.
