Peter Francis Walsh

Mr. Peter Francis Walsh, age 82 of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Sunday July 4, 2021. He was born June 5, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of the late Mr. James Walsh and the late Mrs. Elizabeth Geary Walsh. Mr. Walsh proudly served our country as a Navy Veteran, where he worked as a Chief Petty Officer. He liked going on trips, adventures, and cooking. Mr. Walsh was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Walsh; son, Peter Anthony Walsh; several brothers and sisters. Mr. Walsh is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Chris and Sonny Buck of Winston, Georgia; daughter-in-law, Pamela Walsh of Orlando, Florida; sister and brother-in-law, Marilyn and Sonny Myers of Chicago, Illinois; eight grandchildren, Nick, Shannon, Perry, Jamie, Jennifer, Kaley, Hunter, Dallas; five great grandchildren, Ayden, Lennon, Madison, Lily, Adelaide; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville, Saturday, July 10, 2021 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville.
