Phillip McFall

Mr. Phillip “Mike” Michael McFall, Sr., age 67, of Douglasville, passed away Monday, February 26, 2018. He was born May 24, 1950 in Atlanta the son of the late Mr. John Irvin McFall and the late Mrs. Nanny Bell Garrett McFall. Mr. McFall retired from Bankhead Trucking after many years of service. He was of the Baptist Faith. His favorite bible verse was Isiah 40:31, “But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, David McFall, Lawrence McFall, and Daniel McFall.He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Byers McFall of Douglasville; daughters, Donna Marie McFall of Douglasville, Renee McCoggle of Rockmart; sons and daughters-in-law, Phillip and Angela McFall, Jr., Nolan and Melissa Hill of Griffin; sister, Virginia Carolyn Smith of Columbiana, AL; brother and sister-in-law, Jesse and Verna McFall of Villa Rica; twelve grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica Thursday, March 1, 2018 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Minister Jim Feathers and Minister Thomas Garner. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens.
