Phillip John Morris

Phillip John “P.J.” Morris, age 35, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2022. He was born August 7, 1987 in Lithia Springs, son of Mr. Phillip Wayne Morris and Mrs. Noreen Lee Curtis. P.J. had a contagious smile and wonderful sense of humor and had a movie quote for about every situation. He loved the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves and was a very competitive sports person. He was a big hearted person who would help anyone he could. Singing was another thing he enjoyed.

P.J. is preceded in death by his Grandparents, John and Betty Morris; Aunt, Judy Little; Uncle, Tim Morris, all of Douglasville; Great Grandparents, Alvin and Ruth Parasida of Pennsylvania.

P.J. is survived by his Father and Step Mother, Phillip and Michele Morris; Mother, Noreen Lee Curtis; Sister, Ashley Morris of Douglasville; Brothers, Matthew Morris, Joseph “JC” Morris and Shelby Green, all of Canton; Nieces, Aniyah, Jaylen, Makiya and MaKenzie; Nephews, Tyson and Phoenix; Maternal Grandmother, Sandra Parasida Cable; several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins also survive.

The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville on Sunday, October 9, 2022 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM. The funeral service follow at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville.
