Phyllis Long Pope

Mrs. Phyllis Long Pope, age 76, of Villa Rica, GA. passed away Sunday, August 29, 2010 at her home in Villa Rica. She was born October 5, 1933, the daughter of the late Mrs. Alice Martin Long. She enjoyed her family and playing bingo. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Harold Pope; son, Kenneth Harold Pope and sisters, Vivian Garner and Carolyn McClung. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Guy and Teresa Pope of Carrollton and Brian and Nancy Pope of Villa Rica; brother-in-law, Fred Pope; five grandchildren, Kenneth, John, Alison, Chris, and Dee; two great-grandchildren, Reese and Andrew; Niece, Gloria Searcy; nephew, Gary McClung and cousins. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at 1:00 PM from the Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Chapel in Villa Rica with Celebrant Glenn Gilmore officiating. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens in Villa Rica. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Tuesday, August 31, 2010 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
