Rachel Campbell

Mrs. Rachel Ann Lawson Campbell, age 89, of Douglasville, passed away, Monday, November 24, 2014. She was born May 19, 1925 in Greenwood, SC the daughter of the late Mr. William Lafayette Lawson and the late Mrs. Nell Simpson Lipford Lawson. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Campbell was an active member of the Douglas County Senior Citizens Group. She was of the Christian Faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Merrell G. Campbell; sister, Helen Smith. She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Cooper of Douglasville; son and daughter-in-law, Jon and Debbie Angese of Douglasville; sister, Mary Frances Hall of Knoxville; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one niece and four nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Tuesday, November 25, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted, Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery.
