Mrs. Ramona Dorothy Williams Smith, age 83 of Carrollton, Georgia passed away Monday, September 16, 2019. She was born June 30, 1936 in Fulton County, the daughter of the late Mr. Paul Jack Williams and the late Mrs. Ethel Mary Williams. She was known as Granny to everybody. She loved people, kids, fishing, cooking, but most of all she loved her family. She always saw the good in everyone. Mrs. Smith was a very faithful Evangelist wife. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas Smith, Sr. She is survived by her children and their spouses, David Lamar and Angie Williams of Waco, Georgia, Sherry Barkwell of Carrollton, Georgia, Melinda and Jimmy Flores of Carrollton, Georgia, William and Wanda Smith, Jr. of Bremen, Georgia, Oscar and Christina Smith of Franklin, Georgia, Billy and Christy Smith of Heflin, Alabama, Melissa and Ronald Tolbert of Carrollton, Georgia; two sisters and two brothers; twenty two grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Villa Rica Wednesday, September 18, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, September 19, 2019 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Villa Rica with Rev. Mike Bales officiating. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens.
