Ransom Harden

Mr. Ransom Matthew “Matt” Harden, age 38 of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2019. He was born March 13, 1981, the son of Mr. Ransom Albert Harden and Mrs. Deborah Hollingsworth Wallace. Mr. Harden loved art, music, sing karaoke, camping, and bonfires. He has a great sense of humor, loved his friends, his dog, Samson, and he loved his family the most. Mr. Harden worked for IBEW 613 as an electrician for 15 years. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Sarah Yother Hollingsworth, Byron Vernon Hollingsworth, Pamela Mays Harden, and Grady Albert Harden. Mr. Harden is survived by his fiance, Felicia Westmoreland; mother and step-father, Deborah and Scott Wallace of Douglasville, Georgia; father, Ransom Albert Harden of Jenkinsburg, Georgia; step-daughter, Amber Westmoreland of Douglasville, Georgia; step-son, Anthony Westmoreland of Douglasville, Georgia; step-sisters, Shauna Mimbs of Douglasville, Georgia, Stephanie Cantrell of Douglasville, Georgia; brother, Micah Harden of Jenkinsburg, Georgia; aunts and uncles, Sharon Bollen of St. Cloud, Florida, Mark Harden of St. Cloud, Florida, Mike Harden of Richardmond Hill, Georgia; Shelly and Don Hollingsworth of Heflin, Alabama, Dale Hollingsworth of Winston, Georgia, Dwayne Hollingsworth of Heflin, Alabama, David Hollingsworth of Heflin, Alabama. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville Friday, July 26, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 4:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville with Rev. Josh Smith officiating.
