Mr. Raymond Ben Adams, 81, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Saturday, May 26, 2018. He was born November 5, 1936 in Atlanta, Georgia the son of the late Mr. Charlie Milton Adams and the late Mrs. Lottie Willis Adams. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Douglasville. He retired as a welder at Abrams Store Fixtures. He enjoyed fishing and gardening. He was devoted to family and was a loving father and grandfather. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons, Kenneth Ray Adams and Raymond Howard Jacobs; and numerous brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Hulsey Adams of Douglasville; sons, Gary Lee Adams of Douglasville, Terry LeRoy Adams of Douglasville, and Danny Brian Adams of New Jersey; daughter, Sheril Adams of Douglasville; sister, Lula Robinson of Newnan; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Paula Adams of Hiram; six grandchildren, Kristy Jacobs, Stephen Jacobs, Terry Adams, Jr., Angel Adams, Jonathan Adams, and Chloe Adams; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Rev. Marty Padgett and Rev. Donald Collette officiating. Interment will follow at Rosehaven Cemetery in Douglasville. Serving as pallbearers will be Ricky Williams, Terry Adams, Melvin Talley, Jonathan Adams, Tony Hulsey, and Brian Adams.
