Raymond Farr

Mr. Raymond Lawrence Farr, age 80, of Carrollton passed away Thursday, January 5, 2012. He was born June 30, 1931 in Villa Rica the son of the late Mr. John Guy Farr and the late Mrs. Era Elizabeth Boyd Farr. He served in the United States Army in Korea. He owned and operated Farr’s Roller Rink. Mr. Farr loved traveling, telling jokes, making people laugh and most of all his family. He is survived by his wife, Josie Mae Couch Farr of Carrollton; daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Dennis Yates of Carrollton; sons and daughter-in-law, Mike and Kay Farr of Carrollton, Ricky Farr of Carrollton; brother, Charles Farr of Carrollton; grandchildren, Erin Farr, Russ and Angela DuRant, Eva Yates, Ashley Farr, Katie Farr, T.J. Farr; great-grandchildren, Bridget Adams, Haven Todd, Lily Farr and expecting, Addison Leigh DuRant. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 7, 2012 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica. Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, January 8, 2012 at 4:00 PM from the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Hubert Carroll, Rev. Neal Williams, Rev. Jimmy Henry, and Rev.
