Raymond "Ray" Harris Walden

Mr. Raymond “Ray” Harris Walden, 49, of Woodland, Alabama, formerly of Temple, Georgia passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2007. Mr. Walden was born August 28, 1958 in Rockmart, Georgia. Mr. Walden was employed as an electrician and was a member of Abilene Baptist Church. He attended Central Gwinnett High School in Lawrenceville. He was preceded in death by his father, Harris Dean Walden; mother, Lena Charlotte Rolader McDearis; and step father, J.C. McDearis. Survivors include sisters and brothers in-law, Marjorie Cromer of Temple, Patricia (Walden) and Steve Fischl of Lawrenceville, Teresa and Jackie Lewis of Cumming, and Tammy and Jim McKinzie of Dawsonville; brothers and sisters in-law, Howard and Linda Walden of Temple, and Lamar Walden of Temple; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, November 24, 2007 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Georgia with Rev. Greg Drake officiating. Interment will follow at Abilene Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica Saturday, November 24, 2007 from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to be made to Hi Hope Service Center, 885 Hi Hope Rd., Lawrenceville, Georgia 30043 in memory of Raymond Walden.
