Ms. Reba Louise Parson, age 95, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Monday, July 20, 2015. She was born July 5, 1920 in Paulding County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. Marvin B. Parson and the late Mrs. Flora Mae Judkins Parson. She worked as a knitter at Jean’s Hosiery Mill. She was talented at making lace, sewing and embroidery. She was a member of Callie Harbin Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Fred Parson. She is survived by two sisters, Grace Camp of Douglasville and Marvene Williams of Temple; brother, Curtis Ray Parson of Tifton; several nieces, nephews and extended family. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Wednesday, July 22, 2015 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Rev. Larry Argo officiating. Interment will follow at Friendship Cemetery in Paulding County. Messages of condolence to the family may be sent at www.jones-wynn.com.
