Rebecca Louise Byrd

Rebecca Louise Byrd, 70, of Carrollton, passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2025. She was born on August 12, 1954, the daughter of the late Thomas Eldridge Carroll and the late Lois Carroll.

Rebecca was a LPN and she dedicated many years working at a hospital in Atlanta. She enjoyed crocheting, hunting for antiques and traveling to the beach and mountains.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Ray Byrd.

She is survived by her children, Thomas Byrd and Crystal and Joshua Hill all of Carrollton; grandchildren, Katie Rae, Bridgett, Rebekah, Kathryn, Melonie, and Jackson; great-grandchild, Brynlee.

In accordance with her wishes, she was cremated. The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
