Rebecca SnyderMrs. Rebecca Irene Ruhl Snyder, 74, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Friday, March 13, 2015 at her home following an extended illness. She was born February 21, 1941 in Dante, South Dakota the daughter of the late Mr. Edward W. Ruhl and the late Mrs. Anastasia C. Mazourek Ruhl. She retired as a Senior Investment Broker with A.G. Edwards and Sons. She was of the Catholic Faith. Mrs. Snyder was a wonderful cook and enjoyed hosting parties. She loved to sew and was wonderful at decorating. She served as the Treasurer of the Villa Rica Garden Club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Andrew Snyder; sister, Clarice Berry; and brothers, Eldon Ruhl, Donald “Bud” Ruhl and John Ruhl. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Anastasia “Stacy” and Michael Glover of Villa Rica; sisters and a brother-in-law, Joan and Robert Kocmick and Ruth LaMusga; brother, William “Bill” Ruhl; sister-in-law, Sharon Ruhl; two grandchildren, Katie Glover and Jacob Glover; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Saturday, March 21, 2015 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Memorial Services will be conducted Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica. According to the family’s wishes, her body was cremated. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, In memory of Rebecca Snyder, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
