Renah Mariel Bennett, age 46, of Lithia Spring, passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2023. She was born on February 2, 1977, in Syracuse, NY. She is the daughter of Mr. Tanzola Sneed and Mrs. Norma F. Edwards.
In addition to her parents she is survived by her husband, Olutunji Bennett; parents, Tanzola and Norma Sneed; son, Kaehilani Bennett; brothers, Vernon Patterson, Patrick Edwards.
Renah's journey in the medical field began with her pursuit of an Associates nursing degree. She dedicated herself to providing the best care possible to her patients throughout her career. Renah's commitment to excellence and dedication earned her the prestigious Daisy Award, showcasing her exceptional nursing skills and compassion.
Beyond her professional achievements, Renah was a remarkable individual. Her creative spirit shone through in every aspect of her life. She had an eye for interior design and enjoyed cooking. Travel was another passion that fueled Renah's adventurous spirit. Exploring new places allowed her to experience different cultures and broaden her horizons.
Above all else, Renah cherished her family. She was a proud mother and wife, finding fulfillment in their love and support. One of Renah's proudest accomplishments was transitioning from a technician to become a nurse—an achievement that resonated deeply with her sense of purpose and determination.
Renah Mariel Bennett will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family, friends, colleagues, and patients whose lives she touched with kindness and compassion.

The family will recieve friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville on Saturday, August 19, 2023 from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 PM.
