Renee Rucker

Mrs. Renee Dukes Rucker, age 61, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Sunday, December 21, 2014. She was born January 22, 1953 in Bridgeport, Connecticut. She retired from the United States Postal Service. She was of the Methodist Faith and served as an usher at her home church for many years. She loved bowling, dancing, playing Bingo and attending weddings. She was preceded in death by her father, Wiley Dukes, Sr.; grandchild, Quadell Corbin Hardison and brother, Wiley Dukes, Jr. She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Tomeeka Hardison of Douglasville and Topeeka and Darren Knight of Douglasville; mother and stepfather, Ivory G. and William Carr; sisters, Cynthia Mahan, Debra Douglas, and Ion Sanchez all of Bridgeport, CT; brothers, Anthony Dukes of Asheville, NC and Elton Dukes of Bridgeport, CT; grandchildren, Quadean Hardison, Quentin Hardison, Da’Naisha Knight, and Da’Von Knight; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Saturday, December 27, 2014 from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM. Memorial Services will be conducted Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Anthony Neely officiating.
