Retter Mae Clark

Retter Mae Clark, 90, of Villa Rica, Georgia, passed away on Thurday, October 12, 2023. She was born on January 8, 1933 in Fayetteville, Georgia to the late Lewis Stephen Fortenberry and the late Daisy Lilly McFarland.

Retter enjoyed doing plastic canvas. She was a seamstress for many years. Retter could make clothing, purses, and special items for her family.

In addition to her parents, Retter is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Luther A. Clark; brothers, William Curtis Fortenberry and Dewey Eugen Fortenberry; sisters, Frances McKinney, Louise Carroll, and Ann Kate Samples; 5 grandchildren, including Carl Patton; great grandson, Donovan Patton; bonus granddaughter, Sharon Patton; a number of nieces and nephews.

Retter deeply loved and will be missed by her grandson, Carl, great grandson, Donovan, and bonus granddaughter, Sharon.

In accordance with her wishes, Retter was cremated. There are no services planned at this time.
