Rev. Winford Thomas Brooks

Rev. Winford Thomas Brooks, age 86, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022. He was born February 27, 1935 in Georgia, the son of the late Mr. Albert Clyde Brooks and the late Mrs. Pearlie Mae Brooks. Mr. Brooks was a veteran having served our country in the United States Army. He loved to read his bible and minister to the public the love of his Lord and savior. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Evelyn Brooks; his brother, Felton Dove; his sister, Leitha Gaines. Rev. Brooks is survived by his brothers, Crawford Dove, Ray Dove and Nelson Dove; his sisters, Betty Nash and Tina Dove, as well as numerous nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home and Crematory in Douglasville, Monday, January 31, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, January 31, 2022 from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville at 11:00 AM with Rev. Phil Moore and Dennis Nash officiating.
