Rhonda Kimberly Cosby

Rhonda Kimberly Cosby, age 60, a beloved mother and devoted grandmother, passed away at her home on September 13, 2024. She was born on November 6, 1963, in Georgia, to the late Mr. Emmette Donald "Don" Kendrick and the late Mrs. Amy Lorene Lockhart Kendrick.

Rhonda’s selfless nature shone through in every aspect of her life. As a loving mother and grandmother, she dedicated herself to creating a warm and welcoming environment for her family. Her heart of gold drew people in, and her commitment to family values was evident to everyone who knew her. She was the embodiment of simplicity, finding joy in the everyday moments spent with her loved ones.

In her leisure time, Rhonda found comfort in watching shows like "CSI" and "NCIS," reveling in the thrills of murder mysteries, which also became a topic of discussion among family and friends. Rhonda’s proudest accomplishments were her children and grandchildren, whom she cherished deeply. She relished the role of a nurturing matriarch.

In addition to her parents, Rhonda is preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Tina Kendrick.

Rhonda is survived by her two sons, Brandon Duncan and Joseph Duncan; granddaughters, Kaylee and Kimberlee; brothers, Ray Kendrick, Ramon (Carol) Kendrick, Rex (Mary) Kendrick; as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

In accordance with her wishes, Mrs. Rhonda Cosby was cremated. A private celebration of life will be held by her family at a later date.
