Richard Aubrey Phillips

Mr. Richard Aubrey Phillips, 71, of Dallas Highway, Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at Wellstar Douglas Hospital. He was born April 28, 1935 in McIntosh County, Georgia the son of the late Mr. John H. Phillips, Sr. and the late Mrs. Marion Willingham Phillips. He was a Minister of the Gospel and of the Pentecostal Faith. He worked as a fabrication welder. He is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Daniel Phillips and David and Rachel Phillips all of Villa Rica; two sisters, Joyce Thomason of Douglasville and Betty June Heard of Cumming; six brothers, Joseph Phillips of Douglasville, Sammy Phillips of Griffin, George Phillips of Lithia Springs, Jerald Phillips of Griffin, John H. Phillips, Jr. of Yorkville, and William Phillips of Palmetto; 2 grandchildren, Kristin Traylor and Aaron Traylor; a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services for Mr. Richard Aubrey Phillips will be conducted Friday, March 30, 2007 at 12:00 Noon from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Rev. Brad Fussell and Rev. Sammy Phillips officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens.
