Richard Barstow

Mr. Richard Michael Barstow, age 76, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Monday, July 22, 2013. He was born July 17, 1937 in the Parish of Saint Andrew, Jamaica the son of the late Mr. Godfrey Granville Barstow and the late Mrs. Gladys LaVallee Barstow. He was a veteran of the United States Armed Forces. He was a successful and talented artist. He is survived by his wife, Laura Maguire Barstow of Douglasville; daughter and son-in-law, Bridgett and David Collins of Norcross; three sons and daughter-in-law, R. Michael Barstow of Hiram, Charles Sanders Barstow of Alpharetta, David and Mary Barstow of Atlanta; stepson, Charles Craig Williamson; brother, David G. Barstow of Woburn, Massachusetts; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel Sunday, July 28, 2013 from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM. Memorial Services will be conducted Sunday, July 28, 2013 at 4:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Chaplain Ron Daniel officiating.
