Mr. Richard Joseph Brown, age 36, of Temple passed away Saturday, July 12, 2014. He was born May 16, 1978 in Chapel Hill, NC the son of Mrs. Vickie Ann Hatley Tackett. He worked for Glass Systems. He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Michael Allen Brown and Curtis Dwayne Tackett; grandfather, John Willis Hatley. He is survived by his daughter, Tinsley Ashley Brown of Savannah; mother and step-father, Vickie Ann Hatley Tackett and Rex Tackett of Temple; grandmother, Daisy Mae Hatley of Chapel Hill, NC; aunt, Debbie Lynn Hatley and fiancé Juan Morales of Pittsboro, NC; uncle, Bert Tackett of Hillsborough, NC; two nephews, Michael Brown and Devin Brown of GA; cousins, Teresa Tackett of Pittsboro, NC, Crystal Waddell of Spring Lake, NC, Kevin Helbert of Chapel Hill, NC, Hailey Helbert of Spring Lake, NC and William Waddell of Spring Lake, NC.The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Wednesday, July 16, 2014 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, July 17, 2014 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Stephens and Deacon Anthony Presley officiating.
