Richard Chukwuemeka Awuzie, Sr.

Richard Chukwuemeka Awuzie, Sr., 53, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away on March 25, 2022. He was born on April 16, 1968, the son of the late Pius Awuzie and the late Beatrice Anene Awuzie. Richard, was of the Christian faith. He loved life, was kindhearted and a fun person who was family oriented. He was a hard worker, who loved to talk and never met a stranger. He Lived Big and Loved Big!! Richard was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Juliet Uzoma Ngwuli-Awuzie, his son, Richard Awuzie, Jr.; brothers, Kevin, Chima, Ukachukwu, Christian, Christopher, and Odera, sisters; Uzoamaka, Ugochi and Ndidiamaka; sister-in laws, Gloria, Nkiru, Ann Nkiru Odera, Chioma and Ngozi, several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday April 8, 2022 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. from Jones-Wynn Funeral Home and Crematory Douglas Chapel. The service of Songs will take place on April 7, 2022 from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Douglas Chapel.
