Richard Ernst

Mr. Richard F. Ernst passed away peacefully at his home in Douglasville, Georgia on June 3, 2016. He was born in 1931 in Toledo, Ohio to Helen and Fred Ernst. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Patricia, and his children, Richard David Ernst (Sarah), Eric Ernst (Lisa), Robert Ernst (Margaret), Mary Elizabeth Ernst (Paul Terheide), Meg Schuessler (Steve), Regina Smith (Tim), Christopher Ernst (Terri), John Michael Ernst (Lynda), as well as his dear sister, Betty Mayer (Chuck, deceased), 18 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Richard is a graduate of St. Xavier High School in Cincinnati, and he attended Xavier University. A proud Korean War Veteran, Richard served as a 1st Lt. Navigator, flying wounded soldiers out of Korea. Richard had a successful career in sales marketing with Printpak, Inc.
