Mr. Richard Franklin Anderson, Jr., age 68, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Saturday, December 13, 2008 at his residence. He was born December 24, 1939 in Dekalb County, Georgia, the son of the late Mr. Richard Franklin Anderson, Sr. and the late Mrs. Frankie Smith Anderson. Mr. Anderson worked as and retired from Lockheed Aircraft as an IBM specialist. He was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Norma Benedict Anderson of Douglasville; his daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Curtis Jett of Powder Springs; his sons and daughter-in-law, Richard F. Anderson, III and his wife Juliette Anderson of Douglasville and John Chandler Anderson of Bremen; his brothers, Tommy C. Anderson and Charles Anderson, both of Florida; 6 grandchildren, Richard Franklin Anderson, IV, John Eric Anderson, Victoria Marie Bateman, Nancy Jean Bateman, William Jeremy Anderson, and Katie Jett; 3 great-grandchildren, Richard Franklin Anderson, V, Kenze Anderson, and Ayla Bateman Smith.
