Richard Harold Argo

Mr. Richard Harold Argo, 71, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Saturday, October 28, 2006 at Wellstar Douglas General Hospital in Douglasville, Georgia. He was born November 4, 1934 in Cobb County, Georgia. He was the son of the late Mr. Allen Baxter Argo and the late Mrs. Evelyn Christene Sullivan Argo. Mr. Argo was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Korean Conflict. He worked as an auto mechanic. Mr. Argo was a member of Ephesus Baptist Church in Winston Georgia and the Villa Rica Masonic Lodge #72 F&AM. In addition to his parents, Mr. Argo was preceded in death by his daughter, Rachel Argo Pruitt. Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Regina and Karl Hofele of Douglasville, Rhonda and Jimmy Foster of Bowdon Junction and Rebecca Boles of Douglasville; his brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Larry and Etta Argo of Douglasville; 11 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Georgia with Dr. Billy Godwin officiating. Interment will follow in Ephesus Baptist Church Cemetery in Winston, Georgia.
