Richard John Murawski

Mr. Richard John Murawski, 59, of Chapel Hill Road, Douglasville, Georgia passed away Thursday, February 15, 2007 at Wellstar Douglas General Hospital in Douglasville, Georgia. He was born October 2, 1947 in Brooklyn, New York, the son of the late Mr. Henry Murawski and the late Mrs. Betty Murawski. Mr. Murawski was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Vietnam Conflict. He worked for MARTA as a planner for twenty years. Mr. Murawski was a ceramics enthusiast, a Greenware ceramics dealer, and enjoyed movies. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, who dearly loved his family. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Annice Hanson Murawski of Douglasville; his daughters, Megan Murawski of Douglasville, Amanda Murawski of Lithia Springs, Bethany Blackmon of Villa Rica and Renea Jeffery of Douglasville; his sister, Barbara Michon of Boynton Beach, Florida; and his grandchildren, Cassie, Melody, Brian and Matthew also survive. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, February 19, 2007 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Mr. Ray Wiggins officiating. Graveside Service and Interment will be Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at 2:00PM in the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia.
