Richard Maurer

Mr. Richard David Maurer, age 71, of Villa Rica, passed away, Tuesday, June 13, 2017. He was born January 19, 1946, in Massachusetts, the son of the late Mr. William Chadwick Maurer and the late Mrs. Agnes Carmichael Lyons Maurer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, William Chadwick Maurer, Jr. on the same day 18 years earlier, June 13, 1999.He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Dawn and Juan Bereijo of Miami, FL; brothers and sisters-in-law, Greg and Trisha Maurer of Kingston, Mass., Donald and Denise Maurer of Troy, NY; two grandchildren, Carl Gisle and Vivian Gisle; several adoring nieces and nephews who loved their Uncle Richie also survive. Additionally he is survived by his extended family that reaches from California to Boston, and all the way down to his local adopted family in Villa Rica, Georgia.According to Mr. Maurer’s wishes he was cremated.
