Richard Russell Marrow

Mr. Richard Russell Marrow, age 61, of Marrow Road, Dallas, Georgia passed away Saturday, April 19, 2008 at Tanner Medical Center in Villa Rica. He was born January 20, 1947 in Paulding County, Georgia the son of the late Mr. Andrew Marrow and the late Mrs. Ola Miller Marrow. He was of the Baptist Faith and retired as a printer machinist from the State of Georgia. He was an avid animal lover and enjoyed fishing. He enjoyed antique cars. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Emma Lee Couch. He is survived by his sisters and brother-in-law, Doris and Dwight Singleton of Temple, Marie Smith of Carrollton, Joyce and Roy Hendrix of Winder, and Etta Ann Bryce of Villa Rica; brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Glenn and Bertha Marrow of Temple; brother-in-law, Martin Couch; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, April 21, 2008 at 2:00 PM from Harmony Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Glenn Marrow officiating. Musical selections will be rendered by Ken Johns. Mr. Marrow will lie in state at the church from 1:30 PM until the funeral hour. Interment will follow at Union Grove Cemetery. The following will serve as pallbearers: Ronnie Fields, Randy Fields, Bill Couch, Mike Bryce, Terry Bryce, Scott Davis, Mark Pope, Chris Singleton, and Colby Rutledge. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Sunday, April 20, 2008 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Messages of condolences to the family may be sent from www.jones-wynn.com.
