Ricky Eugene Dunn, Sr.

Mr. Ricky Eugene Dunn, Sr., 51, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Sunday, September 24, 2006 at Tanner Medical Center in Villa Rica, Georgia. He was born June 3, 1955 in Richland County, Ohio, the son of William B. Dunn and Mrs. Peggy Jean Boley Carpenter. Mr. Dunn was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He worked as a forklift operator at Sony Corporation in Carrollton, Georgia. Mr. Dunn was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Misty Dunn. Survivors include his daughter, Donna Dunn of Tennessee; his son, Ricky Eugene Dunn, Jr. of California; his mother, Mrs. Peggy Jean Boley Carpenter of Villa Rica; and his brothers and sister-in-law, Edward and Magalys Dunn of Villa Rica and Gerald Dunn of Kentucky. Graveside services with military honors will be conducted on Friday, September 29, 2006 at 1:00 PM from the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida. Interment will follow in the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida. The family will be receiving friends in the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Wednesday, September 27, 2006 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.jones-wynn.com.
