Ricky Stone, Sr.

Mr. Ricky Len Stone, Sr., age 50, of Temple, Georgia, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2013. He was born September 5, 1963 in Orlando, Florida the son of Mrs. Barbara Green Stone of Tuscumbia, AL and the late Mr. James Stone. He worked as a steel iron worker and was of the Church of God Faith. His family and friends lovingly called him “Guru”. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Reeves. He is survived by his wife, Angela Posey Stone of Temple; his daughters, Shellby Stone of Temple, Alexis Stone of Temple, and Latasha Lovelady of Stockbridge; son, Ricky Stone, Jr. of Sheffield, AL; his mother, Barbara Green Stone of Tuscumbia, AL; sister, Tracy Stone of South Carolina; brother, James Stone of Alabama; six granddaughters; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Thursday, November 7, 2013 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Memorial Services will be conducted Thursday, November 7, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Rudy Posey officiating.
