Robert Allen Defnall, Sr.

Mr. Robert Allen Defnall, Sr., age 78, of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021. He was born October 15, 1943. The son of the late Charles Eugene Defnall and the late Ina Lou Smith. He loved his grandchildren, he looked forward to watching "Cole-Man" play baseball, and he never met a stranger. In addition to his parents his is preceded in death by brother, Gray Defnall; sisters, Merci Dee Tyson, Doris Simpson and Linda Mezick. He is survived by his wife of almost 58 years, Mrs. Annette Defnall of Douglasville, GA.; his sons and daughters-in-law, Allen and Macy Defnall of Tallapoosa, GA., David and Paula Defnall of Douglasville, GA.; his sister, Cathy Thomas of Douglasville, GA.; three grandchildren, Taylor, Dusty, and Colby; Three great-grandchildren, Eli, Cole, and Cooper along with many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home and Crematory of Douglasville, Friday, November 19, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 10:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn, Douglasville with Rev. Ikey Watson officiating.
