Mr. Robert Lawrence Brown, 32, of Lithia Springs, Georgia passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2014. He was born March 31, 1982 in Atlanta, Georgia the son of Mrs. Carol Louise Teal Brown and the late Mr. Robert Terry Brown. He was a member of the Lithia Springs United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Battle Hill Masonic Lodge in Lithia Springs, where he served as Chaplain from 2006 to the present and Mableton Masonic Lodge Jr. Warden Pro-Tem. He was a member of the Sweetwater Shrine Club. He served as Ambassador for the Masonic Home of Georgia for the 7th District. He was a member of the Scottish Rite Valley of Atlanta and the Yaarab Shrine, where he served as Chairman of Retention. He was a member of the Knights of Mecca. He was District Director of the GACHIP. He is survived by his mother, Carol Louise Teal Brown of Lithia Springs; sister and brother-in-law, Amanda and Chris Bergen of Charlotte, NC; beloved nephew and niece, Alexander and Catherine Bergen; aunts and uncles, Dan and Becky Brown, Sylvia Brown Vick and L.G. Vick, Don and Debi Teal, Jack and Phyllis Teal, Richard Teal, and numerous cousins. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Friday, April 11, 2014 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Saturday, April 12, 2014 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville. Eulogies will be provided by Amanda Bergen and J.D. Mitchell. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Douglasville with Masonic Rites. Memorial donations may be directed to the Masonic Home of Georgia, Post Office Box 4183, Macon, Georgia 31208.
