Robert Earl Pooler

Mr. Robert Earl Pooler, age 77 of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2021. He was born November 19, 1943 in Topeka, Kansas, the son of the late Mr. Walter Benjamin Pooler and the late Mrs. Eula Evangaline Witmer Pooler. Mr. Pooler was a business owner and very involved with his work as an upper air Meteorologist for Delta Air Lines. He was a member of the Jaycees of Douglas County and loved to travel. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in by two sisters, Janet Reed and Elizabeth Pooler. Mr. Pooler is survived by his wife of 37 years Mrs. Linda Carole Pooler of Douglasville, Georgia; daughters, Karen M. Pooler of Douglasville, Georgia, Katherine L. Cook of Carrollton, Georgia, Brenda Sue Childers of Canton, Georgia; sons, Robert D. (Bobby) Pooler of Carrollton, Georgia, Richard Darren Thacker of Plano, Texas, Alan Scott Thacker of Douglasville, Georgia; sisters, Linda Sonedker of Kansas, Susan Walker of Florida; brother, Norman Pooler of Ohio; five grandchildren, Brandon Cook, Justin Cook, Tyler Woods, Evan Childers, Will Childers; one great grand-son, Rylee Cook.
