Robert Gerald Bryan

Mr. Robert Gerald Bryan, age 68, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Thursday, January 11, 2007. He was born March 6, 1938 in Mars Hill, North Carolina the son of the late Mr. William Bryan and the late Mrs. Clara Hufstetler Bryan. He married Sonya Murphy on December 20, 1985 in Douglasville. He was of the Baptist Faith and retired as Regional sales manager from Honeywell following 30 years of service. He enjoyed boating, golfing, and his family and home. He is survived by his wife, Sonya Murphy Bryan of Douglasville; daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Bobby Hall of Kennesaw, Stephanie and John Bleakley of Douglasville, Jennifer Archer of Douglasville and Moe Smith of Douglasville; one brother and sister-in-law, Louis and Wanda Bryan of Clarksville, TN; five grandchildren, Lauren Bleakley, Logan Bleakley, Thomas Bleakley, Maddie Archer and Abbie Archer; special friend, Rhonda Halcomb; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, January 14, 2007 at 2:00 PM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home.
