Robert Gerald Harmon

Mr. Robert Gerald Harmon, age 86, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Monday, August 16, 2010. He was born February 12, 1924 in Graysville, Ohio the son of the late Mr. Fred Harmon and the late Mrs. Ana Hill Harmon. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corp in France and Germany during World War II. He retired from Eastern Airlines as a mechanic. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Douglasville. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Anderson Harmon of Douglasville; daughters and son-in-law, Sue Harmon of Douglasville and Bonna and John Eigner of Stuart, FL; sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Cherie Harmon of Dacula and Curtis and Tera Harmon of Lilburn; brother, Fred Harmon of Columbus, Ohio; grandchildren, Jason, Candace, Chelsea, Jennifer, Sandy, Alan, and Tammy; 5 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, August 21, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Dr. John Pennington officiating. Entombment will follow at Rosehaven Cemetery.
